Who Can Apply
EPD+ is available for products with an existing, valid EPD published under a recognised programme.
Manufacturers
Producers of construction products or materials who operate at least one identifiable manufacturing site.
Valid EPD Holders
The product must be covered by a valid EPD prepared in accordance with applicable PCR and programme rules.
Site Access
The manufacturer must allow on-site verification of selected primary data relevant to the EPD.
Have ISO 14001 or FPC?
We don't double-check what is already audited. If you hold valid management system certificates (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, or FPC), we use them to significantly reduce the EPD+ verification scope and cost.
- FPC (System 2+): Covers raw material recipes (A1).
- ISO 50001: Covers energy consumption (A3).
- ISO 14001: Covers waste data.

When EPD+ Makes Sense
Typical business cases where enhanced verification adds real value.
1. Preparing for CPR 3+
For manufacturers who want to be ready for the new Construction Products Regulation before it becomes mandatory.
2. Validating Low-Carbon Energy
If your low carbon footprint relies on Green Energy (Scope 2), we verify your Guarantees of Origin (GoO) on-site.
3. International Tenders
Where buyers request robust, auditable evidence behind declared product footprints to mitigate reporting risk.
4. Key Suppliers (Scope 3)
When your product is a critical input for a larger manufacturer who needs verified data for their own Scope 3 reduction.
